February 2022 Favorites: Sex Dust Hot Chocolate, Dollface Season 2, and More!

I am back with another favorites post! If you missed the first one you can read about all the things I loved in January here.

Entertainment: Dollface,  Love is Blind
Season 2 of Dollface came out and it is everything I needed and more. The show follows four late-twenties women through love, life, and work drama. It has a lot of surrealism and depicts a very LA lifestyle, but I like it because it feels relevant to my life and the issues I am dealing with. Also it has a wonderful cast with Brenda Song, Shay Mitchell, Kat Dennings, and Esther Povitsky. I've also binged the second season of Love is Blind. The first season came out so long ago that honestly I don't remember much of it, but I loved the Asian representation on the second season.

I am not a morning coffee person. I don't like having that much caffeine all at once and instead I usually go for a cup of tea. Lately I've been going for reduced caffeine and having a hot chocolate spiked with a moon juice dust in the morning instead. It's a Swiss Miss hot chocolate made like the package says with a teaspoon of either sex dust, spirit dust, or brain dust. The hot chocolate makes it palatable and the adaptogens give me a more sustained boost of energy throughout the day. My boyfriend got me a box of Sees chocolate for Valentine's day and I have loved having a single piece of really good chocolate as an after dinner dessert lately (the dark chocolate butterchews are my favorite).

This was an impulse buy: it was heavily discounted due to an "imperfection" (I couldn't find anything wrong with it), so I bought it even though it was a large and I usually wear a small. It has been my favorite and most-worn piece this month. It is a primarily cotton sweater with a tiny bit of cashmere and it is perfectly cropped with balloon sleeves and ribbed waistband, wrists, and hood. I've worn it to work, I've worn it lounging around the house, I've worn it during zoom calls and it works in every situation. I got the sky blue sweater, but it also comes in gray and black.

Other: Walking 12k Steps a Day
I am really good about getting 10k steps a day Monday thru Friday, but during February I tried to up it to 12k. It hasn't required more effort than what I was previously doing, I just needed to make sure I was moving a few times throughout the day so I didn't have to make up for it at night. I've felt a lot better, my mood is happier, and I feel like I'm doing something good for my body when I get my steps in.

Let me know what your February favorites were below, especially any tv shows you've been watching!

P.S. Have You Seen...
