What I'm Reading: August 2018

I'm going to be really honest and say that I definitely have not been reading as much as I should be. My pace has slowed way down and I am going to have to pick up the pace if I want to finish 18 books in 2018. If you've missed any of the previous What I'm Reading posts, the full archive is linked here!

Last Month's Books:

The Secrets of Six-Figure Women - Barbara Stanney
I have not finished this book yet, but I'm about 75% through with it and I really like it. It's a mixture of concrete tips that can be used in everyday life with anecdotes from successful women that is both inspirational and educational. This book is actually free on Prime Reading if you're an Amazon Prime member, and it's definitely worth a quick skim!

This Month's Books:

I'm planning on finishing the Secrets of Six-Figure Women this month, as well as  starting The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood. I've heard great things about the book and I already have it in my Kindle app so it's just a matter of carving out the time for me to read through it!

If I end up finishing The Handmaid's Tale I might also start another book from the 18 in 2018 list. I think maybe This Side of Paradise by F. Scott Fitzgerald.

Let me know in the comments what books you've been enjoying lately and if there are any great reads that I need to add to my list! Also make sure you're following the blog on Bloglovin so you don't miss any new posts!
