January 2022 Favorites: Succession, Wine, Gold Jewelry, and more

I thought it might be fun to start writing monthly posts on my beauty, fashion, and lifestyle favorites. I always love to hear about what other people are loving so let me know your favorites from this month in the comments below!

TV: Succession, How I Met Your Father, The Bachelor

I was a little late on the Succession train, but I finally caught up to the end of season 3 and I am completely obsessed! I also found a lot of fashion inspiration in season 2 Shiv. I am completely obsessed with a high-waisted wide or straight legged pant and a turtleneck! I also started watching How I Met Your Father on Hulu and it's a really nice lighthearted comedic show. Not the best television by any means, but I really like it and am also a huge Hilary Duff fan. Lastly, the bachelor. My boyfriend and I are watching this season, but aren't fully into it yet. I didn't find Clayton particularly appealing when he was on Michelle's season of the bachelorette and I still don't find him that compelling of a lead.

Food and Beverage: Beringer Bros. Red Blend Bourbon Barrel Wine & Almond Roca

I had first tried this wine a few years ago and really liked it. A couple months ago I picked up another bottle and finally cracked it open this month. It is one of my favorite red wines and something that I could drink all day everyday. Another thing that I fell in love with again this month is almond roca candies. I was obsessed with them during high school to the point where my friends and family would give me huge containers of them as gifts. When I was home for Christmas, I received another package of them and realized that they are indeed amazing.

Fashion: Small Gold Hoops, Sorel Cate Chelsea Boots, North Face Parka

I wore small gold huggie hoops for the majority of the month. They were a black friday purchase from Local Eclectic and love how they make any outfit look more put together. My most worn shoes are Sorel Cate's. They have a small heel, but are super comfortable, and have good traction in the wet and the snow. Mines are from a couple years ago and are dark brown and match my North Face parka, which I've also gotten a lot of use from. My parka is my sub-freezing jacket as I can usually get away with something lighter when it's cold, but not that cold. It's also dark brown with a fur lined hood and I love it because it's both waterproof and windproof and keeps me well insulated.

Beauty: Moon Juice Acid Potion

I spent three weeks in Hawaii without my acid potion and my skin felt different. The texture was off and I just didn't feel like my face was as smooth as it usually is. Once I got back and started implementing it into my routine I could immediately tell a difference. My favorite way of using it is at night on freshly cleaned skin under a serum and moisturizer.

Let me know what your favorites for this month are in the comments below and I'll see you next month for the next favorites post!
