What I'm Loving June 2018
Isn't it crazy that we're over halfway through the year? This month has been crazy busy for me, which is why I've been slacking on the posts just a tad. I've been super good about posting these favorites posts each month, so you can check out previous ones here! Otherwise, let me know in the comments what your favorites have been this month!
Wearing: Earrings
I have had pierced ears for the longest time, but I don't wear earrings all that often. This month I started wearing my studs again because I felt like my holes were closing, and I love it! I seriously feel like I look more put together when I'm wearing earrings even though I put next to no effort on my outfit.
Listening: Heather Dubrow's World
Heather Dubrow was always my favorite Orange County housewife before she left, and her podcast is so fun! It's usually just her talking about her life, although sometimes she does interviews with guests. I love listening to this in the morning instead of music or when I'm cooking or cleaning as background noise. She also has another podcast with her husband that is also super interesting to listen to.
Watching: Queer Eye
I don't know how it took me so long to start this show! It is absolutely amazing and I finished the first two seasons in a week! It is so heart warming, so easy to watch, and just incredible.
Eating: Spinach artichoke dip from the Cheesecake Factory
This is the weirdest, most specific thing on this list, but I had it the other night at dinner and it was the best thing that I've eaten in a long time! I adore the Cheesecake Factory and I swear that you will love this if you try it.
Drinking: La Croix
This month I've started drinking La Croix and I now understand why so many people love it! Pretty much everyone that I work with in lab drinks La Croix, so I finally picked up a case to test it out. I've tried a couple flavors so far and love the grapefruit one most, but let me know what your favorite is in the comments so I can pick it up!
Reading: You Are A Badass
I read this book earlier this year, but this month I've been skimming through a few chapters as sort of a refresher. I just finished Awaken the Giant Within by Tony Robbins which was a great book, but really long. I like You are a Badass because it's the easy to digest version of pretty much every self help book out there and is just a quick read.
Doing: Working in Lab
I've been working 3-4 days a week in a lab on campus trying to get a head start on my senior thesis. Since I was little, I always thought that I'd want to work in research, but this is my first experience doing it on a consistent basis and I'm obsessed. My lab is a plant biochemistry lab where I do a lot of cloning and I just love it.
So that's it for this month's What I'm Loving post! Let me know in the comments what you've been obsessed with this past month! Also, make sure that you're following the blog on Bloglovin so you don't miss any new posts.
