The Best Haircuts for Summer 2018

It has been a hot minute since I last got my hair cut, but the other week I picked up the scissors and made a change! Summer is such a great time for makeovers and style transformations, and hair is one of the easiest things to change. Here are a few of my favorite haircuts for the season! 

Textured layers are so great, especially if you live somewhere beachy! This is the vibe that I was going for when I cut my hair, although my hair is layered longer than Kendall's with the shortest layers around collarbone length and the longest layers armpit length. This style is super great because it allows you to keep the length that you want, while removing excess bulk and giving your hair a lot of movement and body. This is also my favorite haircut for girls that live near the ocean because the natural beach waves created by salty air makes this style look so good! 

 I also love short hairstyles this time of year! They are so great because they are easy to style and you never need to use heat on it! This works well for people that aren't bothered by having their hair down all the time because while you can secure your front strands back with barrettes or headbands, you can't tie it back the way you could a longer hairstyle. 

Bangs are also so cute this time of year! I think that it takes a very special person to be able to wear bangs in the summer without breaking out on your forehead or having really greasy bangs. That being said, choppy and textured bangs add a little bit of edge and a summery feel to any haircut. I also like longer bangs for the summer because they can be clipped back a lot easier than shorter bangs!
