Holiday 2017 Gift Guide: Books
It's mid-november, which means that it's time for gift guides to start! We're starting out my gift guide series with books. Books are such a timeless, beautiful gift because physical books are something most people don't like to spend money on.
In my experience, there are two types of book gifts. You either go the really meaningful route by giving either a favorite book of yours that you think your friend would like or a first edition or signed copy of their favorite book. This only really works when you know the person well and can pick out something you know will be meaningful to them and not just another book collecting dust on their bookshelf. The other route is what this post is all about. It's the coffee table/cookbook. These are books that are meant to be seen. They are just as much decor as they are functional, although if you find one on a topic that they enjoy, you're even better. They are hardcover and just as beautiful inside as they are aesthetic on the outside. I made a little collage of a few that I think are great books to give as gifts, as usual, if you find something you're interested in, click on the image for more info!
Let me know in the comments what books you like to give as gifts! I love giving cookbooks to people in my life, but now that my friends are turning 21 I think cocktail books would be super cute gifts too!
